Driving can have its frustrations. A recent report suggests this may particularly be the case for people here in Issaquah. It named Issaquah one of the worst places for drivers when it comes to large U.S. cities.
According to this WalletHub report, among America’s 100 biggest cities, Issaquah is ranked 96th regarding being driver-friendly.
In ranking cities for how driver-friendly they are, the report considered four different categories of factors:
- Traffic & infrastructure
- Safety
- Access to vehicles & maintenance
- Cost of ownership & maintenance
Of these four categories, access to vehicles & maintenance was the only one in which Issaquah didn’t rank in the bottom half among large U.S. cities. And the city didn’t miss the bottom half in that category by that many rankings.
What do you see as the most challenging things about being a driver in Issaquah?
If this report is any indication, Issaquah isn’t always an easy place to be a driver. There are things individuals in the city can do though to try to keep their driving experience from going an unfortunate direction. For one, they can take steps to help keep their car trips safe.
